DFMG Deutsche Funkturm GmbH is Germany’s largest provider of wireless infrastructure. With 36,200 antenna sites (as of 2025), Deutsche Funkturm supports the expansion of infrastructure for mobile communications, broadcasting, microwave links, and government networks. Approximately 750 employees ensure the security of critical infrastructure nationwide.
The Challenge
Seven annual reports had to be translated in just under three weeks. IFRS, the German Commercial Code (HGB), previous versions, and client-specific terminology required the utmost precision. Investors, analysts, and regulatory authorities expected reliable financial language.
The Solution
KERN established a coordinated process for financial translations in accordance with ISO 17100. Previous years’ reports, terminology, and conventions were reviewed collaboratively. Translators, editors, and project managers worked in parallel and in close coordination.
The Results
Deutsche Funkturm received certified translations promptly and was able to finalize the financial statements on time. KERN enhanced consistency, security, and trust. The partnership is set to continue for future financial statements.
What Our Client Says
“We received the financial statements back from you early, despite minor delays on our end, and were therefore able to finalize them on time. Thank you very much for that. We can certainly see ourselves engaging you to translate our 2026 annual financial statements.”
