Internship for students at KERN

Requirements
KERN is looking for creative and committed people who want to take on new challenges. We require people who speak and write good German and are fully proficient in one or more foreign languages, have good IT skills, an eye for detail when proofreading, and the ability to work both alone and in a team. Soft skills are required, as is so often the case in the communications sector, and all candidates must be able to represent the company positively to customers.
Length and location of internship
The internship program runs continuously. Interns must stay for a minimum of three months and a maximum of one year. Interns can be employed in any of the KERN offices.
Focuses of the internship
- Translation and proofreading of shorter texts into the intern's native language
- Data preparation, data entry, editing, and preparation of texts to be translated
- Supporting the project management team
- Supporting the selection and training of translators and proofreaders
- Terminology database management and database maintenance
- Quality assurance of translations
