RSI VoiceApp™ – innovative on-demand interpreting

The RSI VoiceApp™ offers users the possibility to connect to the different interpreting channels using an IOS or Android smartphone (see download). The app can be adapted to the needs of the customer and to the requirements of the event, and offers direct event access as well. Users can download the KERN app for free. Once the app has been installed on a device, an event code and a secure PIN code must be entered, which can be personalised according to the needs of our customers, if required. Suitable customer logos can be integrated for every event and displayed in the app.

Conference or meeting participants need only download and open the user-friendly RSI VoiceApp™on their mobile phone or tablet and then use the app with headphones. Now they can hear everything and participate in the event. A  browser-based version of the app with a pop-up window is available for participants who wish to participate in the event via computer.

In addition, KERN Global Language Services also offers a live subtitling service that can be integrated into the event upon customer request.

The app is aimed at private and business customers who require professional interpreting services at short notice or wish to deploy interpreters flexibly from any location. KERN offers a secure and EU-based video conference platform with an integrated remote simultaneous interpretation solution (RSI) for every event with up to 75 active participants.

• Zoom or Webex: Interpreter channels can be used directly via the platform. Our technology enables us to add to every Zoom conference or every webinar up to five additional languages that are adapted to your requirements. We can thus offer 14 languages in total for every online event.
• Other meeting or conference platforms such as MS Teams, GoTo, etc. can also be used. Our RSI VoiceApp™, our web app and/or our pop-up window via computer are then used for the interpreting.
• Hybrid events: Our services can be adapted to the different possibilities depending on which platform is used. The interpreting is then carried out via the RSI VoiceApp™, our web app, our computer pop-up window, an audio link and/or the platform.

All events are attended by at least one specialist to ensure that everything runs smoothly for customers as well as participants and interpreters during their assignment.
