Today, as a member of Charta der Vielfalt (the German Diversity Charter), we are celebrating the 11th German Diversity Day to express our appreciation for the diversity of all people in our society. At KERN we recognise the immense importance of diversity and would like to take this opportunity to celebrate the diversity of people around the world, their languages and indeed all global communication.
Every day we work together with a wide variety of people to make global communication a success and to build bridges between people, cultures and nations, so that everyone can communicate with one another on an equal footing. The languages of the world are a living expression of diversity. They are not only a means of communication, but also a source of culture, knowledge and mutual enrichment.
We believe that our strength lies in our diversity. The collaboration of people from different backgrounds, genders, sexual orientations, age groups and abilities creates a creative and innovative working environment shaped by diverse perspectives.
Unfortunately, however, this is still not a matter of course today! It is therefore important to continue raising awareness and promote social justice and inclusion by ensuring that all people have equal opportunities to contribute their talents and abilities to our world and to our work.
Together we can build a better future where everyone enjoys equal opportunities and where diversity is recognised as a source of inspiration and innovation.
