Frankfurt am Main. With the company’s founding in 1969, Manfred and Ruthild Birte Kern reacted to the challenges that accompanied increasing internationalization. The initial vision was to support companies with selling their products and services internationally. By absorbing the Institut für Kreatives Lernen (Institute for Creative Learning) in 2005 and the founding of KERN Training, the Group significantly expanded its service portfolio to include business, communication and intercultural training. This way, the requirements in the area of personnel and the increased multilingualism and internationalization of companies was addressed.
The KERN Group has not only developed further in terms of its service portfolio over the years. The opening of the first foreign branch in Paris in 1983 laid the foundation for a successful international expansion. Today, the KERN Group has over 60 branches and is represented in Germany, Great Britain, France, Poland, Austria, the Netherlands, China and the USA.
