The opening of the branch on July 16 in Kaiserslautern city center was a logical step for the language service provider on its way toward expansion, not least because of numerous existing local clients from the automotive industry and IT. The university city has international flair and is an attractive location for the long-standing Frankfurt-based company. Its capacity to attract science and research in conjunction with the growth of innovative sectors, not to mention the US military bases located out of the city, explains the high demand for foreign language services.
"At our new location in Kaiserslautern, we benefit from synergies that strengthen our existing business contacts and facilitate new customer relationships. Reducing the distance to our customers in the Western Palatinate enables us to communicate with them more personally, and not least to offer more cost-efficient services too," said Dr. Thomas Kern, member of KERN's Executive Board, about the branch opening. The company also has a branch in the state capital Mainz in Rhineland-Palatinate. We offer translation and interpreting into all world languages, terminology and translation memory management, website and software localization, and language training for specialist and executive personnel.
