KERN Global Language Services has been distinguished for its exemplary business practices by the rating platform EcoVadis. The certification is based on compliance with international standards for corporate social responsibility. The award for sustainable business policy marks a major milestone for the family-owned company based in Frankfurt am Main – and for its customers.
Frankfurt am Main. Following a detailed assessment by the French rating platform EcoVadis, KERN Global Language Services received a bronze rating for its corporate social responsibility (CSR).
During the assessment, the following four topics are taken into consideration: environment, labor practices, fair business and sustainable procurement. The analysis process that leads to an objective rating of a supplier’s CSR consists of a questionnaire and supporting documents, which serve as evidence of the information. The methodology is based on international CSR standards such as the Global Reporting Initiative Guidelines , the United Nations Global Compact and DIN ISO 26000 principles.
Based on its internal guidelines, policies and outcomes, KERN was able to substantiate its sustainable business practices, and as a result it was awarded a bronze medal by EcoVadis.
