Duration and location

KERN offers an ongoing scheme of internship programs. The duration of each internship is a minimum of 3 months and maximum of a year. Our numerous branches are available as locations for an internship.

Requirements

KERN is looking for creative and committed individuals who welcome new challenges. Candidates should have a good working knowledge of written and spoken German, good computer skills, have an eye for detail and accuracy when proofreading texts and the ability to work in a team as well as individually. As with most jobs in the area of communication, social and people skills are indispensable and all candidates must be able to act as a good ambassador for the company.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Translating and proofreading of shorter texts into your mother tongue
• Preparation, inputting, proofreading and editing of translation texts
• Supporting the management of projects
• Assisting with the appointment and training of translators and proofreaders
• Assisting with terminology management and maintenance of the data base
• Quality control of translations
