Duration and location

KERN offers an ongoing scheme of internship programs. The duration of each internship is a minimum of 3 months and maximum of a year. Our numerous branches are available as locations for an internship.

Requirements

KERN is looking for creative and committed individuals who welcome new challenges. Candidates should have a good working knowledge of written and spoken German, good computer skills, have an eye for detail and accuracy when proofreading texts and the ability to work in a team as well as individually. As with most jobs in the area of communication, social and people skills are indispensable and all candidates must be able to act as a good ambassador for the company.

Tasks and responsibilities

Translating and proofreading of shorter texts into your mother tongue
Preparation, inputting, proofreading and editing of translation texts
Supporting the management of projects
Assisting with the appointment and training of translators and proofreaders
Assisting with terminology management and maintenance of the data base
Quality control of translations
